NB DC580 Wicketkeeping Pads
The NB DC580 Wicketkeeping Pads are made with imported high-grade PU front, 7 bar modern construction and 9mm cross-link foam padding for comfort and protection. Features include soft foam vertical and knee bolsters, Cashmillion padded instep with PU covering and nylon straps. Perfect for cricketers who always strive for excellence.
Keeping gear is different from batting gear. Start with gloves and inners that fit well, then add keeping pads and a helmet.
- Gloves: choose Junior, Youth or Adult. Try them on over your inners. They should close easily into a catching shape, with your fingers reaching well into the ends.
- Inners: always wear them. Plain chamois gives the most feel. Padded inners give more protection.
- Pads: keeping pads are shorter and lighter than batting pads, so you can squat and move. The knee roll should sit on your knee cap.
- Helmet: wear one whenever you stand up to the stumps.
