SG Players Edition Cricket Bat

This SG Players Edition Junior Cricket Bat is crafted from Grade 1 English Willow, custom-made to meet international players requirements. It features a traditional round cane handle for supreme grip and bat control, and comes with a bat case for safekeeping. Perfect for aspiring cricketers.

Grade 1 English Willow hard pressed & traditionally shaped for superb stroke
Approx 7-9 straight grains
Imported cane handle with special formulation cork inserts for enhanced flexibility and shock absorption
Traditional round cane handle for superior grip and bat control
Tested for usage against leather ball
Comes with a padded full-length bat cover with adjustable carry-straps

Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.

Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
