Our Cricket Bat Match Ready Service includes two coats of linseed oil applied to the face, back edges and toe of the bat as well as 15000 knocks via machine and additional hand-knocking of edges, toe and face of the bat. An Extratec sheet is applied after the knocking process is completed. This service can also be applied to an old cricket bat after it has been thoroughly cleaned and repaired.

Oiling stops the willow from drying out and therefore greatly reduces the risk of cracking.
