Our Story | Why Western Sports Centre

Cricket is about more than the gear you buy. It is the hours in the nets, the confidence to take the next step and the care that keeps your favourite bat in the game.

At Western Sports Centre, we bring those parts of cricket together. Our physical Melbourne centre connects cricket retail with indoor training, academy coaching and bat services, giving you a place to turn before and after your purchase.

A real centre, built around the game

We are more than an online cricket store. Our Melbourne centre is a place for players to practice, develop and connect with others who share their passion. With indoor batting lanes, bowling machines and all-weather training options, cricket does not have to stop when the weather changes.

Whether you are helping a young player get started or working on your own game, you can explore our equipment online and visit us in person.

Developing players through P2G Academy

Our Pathway to Glory (P2G) Academy brings structured cricket coaching to young players. Its foundation program supports boys and girls aged 5 to 15, with small-group coaching, a progression-based curriculum and video analysis.

It is a practical connection between learning the game and putting that learning into action, supported by indoor facilities and experienced coaches.

Bat care beyond the purchase

A cricket bat is a personal piece of kit. Looking after it matters, whether you are preparing a new bat or seeking help with one you already know and love.

Our bat repair service gives you a way to request help when your bat needs attention. Submit a repair request so your next step can be assessed, rather than assuming it is time for a replacement.
