Kookaburra Beast 2.0 Cricket Bat
Designed with short formats of the game in mind, the Kookaburra Beast Junior 2.0 is an imposing figure in the Kookaburra line-up. As the bat with the lowest profile in the 22/23 range, the Beast Pro 2.0 is designed with attacking mode in mind and produced using grade 3.0 unbleached English Willow.
Player Type: Perfect for juniors wanting to stand out from the rest and dominate the game.
Bat Profile: Very low and aggressive with a standard face and toe profile. Best format is white ball cricket.
- Grade 3 Unbleached English Willow
- Imposing Low profile
- Traditional toe shaping
- Oval Handle with Players Grip
Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.
- Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
- Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
- Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
- Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
