Gray Nicolls Tempesta 1250 Play Now Adult Cricket Bat

The Tempesta is among the newest additions to the Gray-Nicolls Range.

It has been very popular with a number of sub-continental players, including Pakistan superstar Babar Azam, with Matt Renshaw and Jess Jonassen among the sponsored athletes using this bat this summer.

With a smooth green and grey stickering, the Tempesta is set to take the game by storm this summer due to its light pick up and even bow.

The Tempesta features a low/mid profile and an even bow.

This junior bat is typically crafted in weight ranges between 2.2 - 2.6 and uses Superior Grade 2 English Willow. The Tempesta 1250 is a Play Now bat, meaning it has been fully prepared and is ready for match or training use immediately.

All Tempesta bats will come with our all-new line grip which has been created to increase grip for batters.

Bat Features:

Mid/Low Profile
Even Bow
Light Pickup
Medium Edges
Rounded POWERCURVE Face
Natural Finish

Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.

Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
