Gray-Nicolls Revel 1350 Play Now Adult Cricket Bat – Grade 2 English Willow Bat
The Gray-Nicolls Revel 1350 Play Now Adult Cricket Bat is a premium English willow cricket bat designed for dynamic players who want balance, fast hands and confident all-round stroke play.
Crafted from Superior Grade 2 English Willow, the Revel 1350 delivers strong performance, quality feel and excellent value for serious club, senior and representative cricketers.
With a mid profile, even bow, generous edges and rounded POWERCURVE face, this bat is built for players who like to score freely on both the front foot and back foot.
This is a Play Now cricket bat, meaning it has been factory prepared to reduce preparation time. However, additional knocking-in and gradual net use with an older ball is still recommended before full match use against a leather cricket ball.

Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.
- Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
- Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
- Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
- Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
