Gray Nicolls Nova 1200 Adult Cricket Bat
Since its inaugural year, the Nova has been one of the most popular cricket bats on the market in Australia.
And in season 2024-25, the Nova 2.0 is set to turn heads on the cricket field as a new and improved version of the Nova.
The stickering of the bat has been refined and streamlined to elevate the clean and classy look that has captured the eyes of players across the country.
Kane Williamson, Travis Head and Annabel Sutherland are among our top athletes using the Nova 2.0 this summer.
It features a Mid Profile with an even bow and a rounded face, as well as large edges and a light pickup.
It is typically found in weight ranges between 2.7 - 2.10 with the Nova 2.0 1200 Bat crafted using Superior Grade 1 English Willow.
Bat Features:
- Mid Profile
- Even Bow
- Light Pickup
- Large Edges
- Rounded POWERCURVE Face
- Traction Grip
Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.
- Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
- Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
- Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
- Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
