  • Club, state, and semi-professional wicketkeepers

  • Players wanting a balance of grip, comfort, and protection

  • Keepers who train frequently and require durable, high-performance gloves

Keeping gear is different from batting gear. Start with gloves and inners that fit well, then add keeping pads and a helmet.

  • Gloves: choose Junior, Youth or Adult. Try them on over your inners. They should close easily into a catching shape, with your fingers reaching well into the ends.
  • Inners: always wear them. Plain chamois gives the most feel. Padded inners give more protection.
  • Pads: keeping pads are shorter and lighter than batting pads, so you can squat and move. The knee roll should sit on your knee cap.
  • Helmet: wear one whenever you stand up to the stumps.
