Every batter facing a hard ball needs an abdominal guard and a thigh guard. As the bowling gets quicker, add an inner thigh guard, an arm guard and a chest guard.

  • Abdominal guard: a must for every batter and keeper. Choose Small Junior, Junior, Youth or Adult, and a women's guard for women and girls.
  • Thigh guard: worn on your front leg. The bottom should meet the top of your pad with no gap. Combo guards add an inner thigh guard in one.
  • Arm and chest guards: worn on the side facing the bowler, for protection against short balls.
  • RH or LH: means the way you bat. RH guards are worn on the left side.
