🛡️ Masuri Elite/Test/Legacy Stem Guard – Black

The Masuri Elite/Test/Legacy Stem Guard is designed to provide additional protection around the exposed area at the back of a batter’s head and neck.

Its protective structure combines impact-modified TPU honeycomb with military-grade crush foam, helping manage impact while maintaining a lightweight profile. The guard attaches to compatible Masuri Vision Series helmets using moulded clips.

This model is intended for compatible Elite, Test and Legacy helmet variants. It is supplied as a helmet accessory only; the cricket helmet is sold separately.

Choose a cricket helmet that meets the safety standard, fits snugly and has a neck guard.

  • Safety standard: look for BS7928:2013 on the label. BS7928:2013+A1:2019 means it's also been tested with a neck guard.
  • Fit: measure your head about 2 cm above your eyebrows. The helmet should feel snug and not rock when you shake your head.
  • Neck guard: compulsory for batters facing pace in Cricket Australia competitions, and recommended for anyone facing pace bowling.
  • Replace it: after a heavy hit or any visible damage, even if it looks fine.
