🏏 Kookaburra Ghost Pro 1.0 Adult Cricket Bat – Grade 2 English Willow Bat
The Kookaburra Ghost Pro 1.0 Adult Cricket Bat is a premium English willow cricket bat designed for traditional players who value balance, timing and clean stroke play.
Crafted from Grade 2 Unbleached English Willow, the Ghost Pro 1.0 offers high-quality performance for serious club, school and representative cricketers.
The mid profile makes this bat suitable for all-round stroke play, giving players confidence both off the front foot and back foot.
Finished with a traditional toe profile, standard face, oval handle, Hexa grip and toe guard, the Kookaburra Ghost Pro 1.0 is a refined adult cricket bat built for players who like a classic feel with modern performance.
This bat includes a free full-length bat cover. As with all quality English willow cricket bats, full preparation, knocking-in and gradual net use with an older ball is recommended before match use against a leather cricket ball.

- Prepare the bat properly before match use.
- Knock in the face and edges carefully before using against a leather cricket ball.
- Use gradually in the nets with an older ball before full match play.
- Avoid wet conditions and store in a cool, dry place.
- Inspect the face, edges and toe regularly during the season.
Choosing a cricket bat comes down to four things: size, weight, willow and how it feels in your hands.
- Size: most adults use a Short Handle bat. For juniors, choose by height, and if they're between sizes, go smaller.
- Weight: pick the heaviest bat you can swing comfortably for a whole innings, not the heaviest you can lift.
- Willow: English willow is lighter and livelier for hard-ball cricket. Kashmir willow is tougher and more affordable, great for a first bat.
- Knocking in: a new English willow bat needs knocking in before you face a leather ball, unless it's sold as Play Now or Match Ready.
