The GEL-PEAKE™ 2 GS (Grade School) is designed for outdoor sports. The upper is reinforced with synthetic leather overlays, with added panelling across the midfoot to deliver better support. The midsole incorporates GEL™ technology to deliver better cushioning and shock absorption. As forefoot flex grooves help the shoe move with the cricketer.

Choosing cricket shoes starts with one question: what surface do you play on?
- Spikes or rubber: metal spikes grip best on turf and grass. Rubber soles are for synthetic pitches, indoor cricket and training.
- Fit: try them on with cricket socks and leave about a thumb's width at the toe. Your heel shouldn't lift.
- Width: if standard shoes pinch, try a wider fit. Some New Balance models come in 2E and 4E.
- Bowlers: look for extra heel cushioning and a firm fit to handle the delivery stride.
