Enhanced for 2022, the PAYNTR-X Spike is our latest ultra-lightweight, high-comfort shoe engineered for agility, stability and traction out on the field, bringing superior performance at an affordable price.

  • Structured two-piece, high-quality textured PU (Polyurethane) durable upper for enhanced breathability, stability, and flexibility.
  • Lightweight EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) midsole for responsive support, lasting cushioning and shock absorption for additional comfort.
  • Cushioned foam collar neckline provides support and comfort with coloured Lycra inner lining to keep cool and dry in all conditions.
  • Honeycomb insoles for added cushioning and comfort.
  • Molded TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) heel cup keeps foot in place for additional support and stability.
  • 7/4 spike formation outsole plate with 5mm high TPU to provide superior grip and traction with an enlarged toe cap and rubber bumper to protect from dragging.

Choosing cricket shoes starts with one question: what surface do you play on?

  • Spikes or rubber: metal spikes grip best on turf and grass. Rubber soles are for synthetic pitches, indoor cricket and training.
  • Fit: try them on with cricket socks and leave about a thumb's width at the toe. Your heel shouldn't lift.
  • Width: if standard shoes pinch, try a wider fit. Some New Balance models come in 2E and 4E.
  • Bowlers: look for extra heel cushioning and a firm fit to handle the delivery stride.
