👟 Adidas Howzat Spike JQ8550 Cricket Shoes

The Adidas Howzat Spike JQ8550 Cricket Shoes are designed as a versatile all-round option for players who need comfort, grip and stability across batting, bowling and fielding.

The breathable mesh and synthetic upper helps manage heat and moisture during long matches, while the low-cut construction supports natural ankle movement. An internal heel counter and reinforced toe area provide extra stability and durability during crease work, bowling approaches and repeated directional changes.

The cushioned adiPRENE® midsole helps absorb impact during running and landing. Underfoot, the outsole uses a 5/2 metal-spike layout, giving seven steel contact points for dependable grip on soft turf and natural cricket wickets.

Choosing cricket shoes starts with one question: what surface do you play on?

  • Spikes or rubber: metal spikes grip best on turf and grass. Rubber soles are for synthetic pitches, indoor cricket and training.
  • Fit: try them on with cricket socks and leave about a thumb's width at the toe. Your heel shouldn't lift.
  • Width: if standard shoes pinch, try a wider fit. Some New Balance models come in 2E and 4E.
  • Bowlers: look for extra heel cushioning and a firm fit to handle the delivery stride.
