INDOOR CRICKET

Indoor Cricket is a variation of standard Cricket. It was developed in Perth, Western Australia, in the late 1970's. Originally it was intended to be a low-cost sport, suitable for cricketers and novices alike, and one which could be played year-round. It meets all those goals to this day. It’s a great way to stay fit and great source of entertainment for all ages. The game is played in a fully enclosed netting, which allows for high scoring excitement with no delays. One of the many positive aspects of the Indoor Cricket is its suitability for children (and adults new to any form of cricket). At WSC, the court is lot bigger providing ample runups and value for money. read more..

RULES

A batter makes runs by hitting the ball into the net and running. Different scores can be obtained depending on which net the ball is hit into. Runs are also obtained by running between the creases. Unlike outdoor cricket, if a player is dismissed whilst batting his team has three (3) runs deducted from the team score. The batter continues batting until their four (4) overs are complete. Players can be dismissed in the same manner as outdoor cricket including being caught off the nets. Players can only be caught off direct hits to the Zone D net (6 run net) in mixed games. Players must complete a physical run to obtain any net scores including a four and six.Call WSC at 0450 227 972 to book!
